How I Replaced the Bellows on My Frigidaire LTF6000FS0 Front Load Washer

Our FRIGIDAIRE LTF6000FS0 front load washing machine somehow developed a small tear at about 6 o’clock on the outer edge of the bellows where it sits against the door glass. You wouldn’t think such a small tear would amount to so much water leakage, but it created a river of water on the laundry room floor.

I purchased the bellows kit part #134515300 online. The kit came with instructions that were not very well written, and the pictures were of such poor quality, they almost didn’t help at all. In this article I offer up my experience in replacing the bellows in hopes it makes for a little less frustrating job for someone else. Read the rest…

How to Add MP3 Ringtones to your Motorola V750 Adventure Phone

I bought a new Motorola V750 Adventure mobile phone as part of my Verizon new every 2 plan. When I searched the internet for help with downloading my own ringtones on the phone I found that many blogs reported that Verizon prevented users from installing their ringtones. I tried the P2K Commander method, but gave up when I couldn’t get past just viewing the folder names on the phone. It turns out that there is a simple method to send yourself ringtone files (mp3) using a microSD memory card. This method will cost you a pix message for each ringtone sent, so hopefully you have a texting/messaging package that permits you a number of messages per month. I just bought this phone in January 2009 and verified that the firmware is the latest version.

The following is a summary of the steps required to save your mp3 ringtone files as ringtones on your Verizon Motorola V750 Adventure:

The process is actually quite simple. It does require use of a microSD memory card, so make sure you have one on hand as well as a computer with the capability of interfacing with the memory card (requires an adapter).

Items you will need:

· microSD memory card. If you don’t have one, go to your nearest Walmart, Target or drug store and buy one. They are very reasonable at under $20. Most come with an SD adapter which you will need to interface with your computer.

· A computer capable of interfacing with the microSD card (via a SD card slot or some external memory card reader)

The Process:

· If you are using a brand new microSD card right out of the package then you must first format it for your V750 . Remove the back cover of the V750 and insert the memory card. Choose MENU->Setting & Tools->Memory->Card Memory->Format Card. Formatting takes just a few seconds. When format is complete you can remove the card from the V750.
( continued below )

· Place the memory card in the adapter and connect it to your computer.

· Copy the desired mp3 files from your computer and place them in the My Sounds folder on the memory card

· Safely remove the memory card from the computer and insert it into the memory card slot on the back of the V750 (requires removal of back cover).

· On the V750 navigate to MENU->Media Center->Music & Tones->My Sounds. Highlight one of the desired sound files and press the right soft key (Options).

· Highlight and select Send

· Highlight and select New Picture Message

· Type your own cell phone number in the To: field

· Send the message

· When you receive the message, open it and press the right soft key (Options) and then highlight and select Save Sound option.

· Type in a new name for the file if you don’t like the given name, then press the right soft key (Set As). Highlight and select Set As Ringtone.
